DaDe ART & DESIGN LAB - ART & FURNITURE gallery & studio | Calgary
DaDe ART & DESIGN LAB creates and provides innovative and unique products that enhance interior living spaces. With a distinctive product mix and presentation philosophy DaDe offers a complete product range for modern living, including original art & sculpture by local artists, and exclusive furniture from around the world.
Established in 2008, originally located, in a 700 square foot space, on the upper level of Art Central. With the vision to create an innovative authentic space to showcase design, focusing on abstract & modern art, installation pieces, unique glass & metal sculpture, as well as bringing in one of a kind custom designs. After 13 months DaDe left Art Central with a larger space in Inglewood in mind. Only five months later DaDe had collaborated with Su Fong Wang, owner of Ellipses Design, on a new boutique concept and moved down the street to 1327 NINTH AVENUE SOUTH EAST. Now with 3000 square feet, DaDe is excited to offer an edited collection of product that reflects quality design.
DaDe ART & DESIGN LAB carries Chinese antiques, unique furniture constructed of reclaimed elm and cold rolled Japanese stainless steel, as well as modern multi functional upholstered pieces from Germany and Italy. DaDe’s innovative design gallery also carries modern abstract art and sculpture from local artists. Co Owner & Creative Director, Darcy Lundgren has been designing high end residential since 1992, also moving into interior design & commercial design in 2009.
